My PS4 got an update this week, was able to play for the last 2 days, made 5-7 hours of progress on it. Even got trophies for some of the stuff I did. When I load my game it has the time stamp for Yesterday April 14 at 6pm, but it's loading from a save from last weekend.
I turned off, restarted the system and it still keeps loading an old save. I lost so much work already, unsure if there is a fix?

I can push the seamoth about too but I don't have a moonpool as I hadn't built one yet and now I cannot place one due to the bug. I can no longer interact with my deployable vehicle builder either so no way to try and build another seamoth.

This is really frustrating given the £50 it cost for these 2 games.

I don't want to restart subnautica or start below zero if there's a chance this can happen again

I love the game I have it on the switch but now when I go to load it at 40 percent the game crashes

Having the same issue on switch. Went down into the lava zone in my prawn suit right near the sea dragon leviathan. I have 32 hours into it and just harvested a ton of materials now every time I try to load my save it says software closed due to error. Hard reset, uninstall, no corrupt files found nothing worked. This is really painful after putting in over a day to lose everything. This is after the recent patch also, any chance for another?

Yep, I'm suffering this issue as well. Went to the Inactive Lava Zone, got into my Prawn suit, dropped out of the Cyclops, moved forward a bit, then saved.

Now my game crashes when loading my save, it stops at:

Loading... 40% (40s)
Loading world 10% (15s)

Subnautica on Switch, game crash at 40% loading. Saved on the cyclop, around 28 hours in game. Other savegame (other family member savegame of Nautica) works fine.

Same with newest update. Game starts loading. At exactly 40% load game 10% load world and text pops of 1700 meters crush depth, game crashes. I saved inside of the PRAWN at my seabase in the lower green area with the tree which also has my cyclops floating nearby.

An update (for the sake of maybe locating what's causing the problem): The Seamoth can be pushed back into the Moonpool basin, where it will dock. There it can be entered again and right after docking the module compartment can be accessed as well. After a few seconds this ability disappears from screen. Take the Seamoth out of the Moonpool basin by entering, exit it right away and you're able to re-enter it just fine. This seems to disappear - again - after a few seconds. I still can't build new stuff or edit most of the base due to a sand shark and stalker in need of being deconstruted first. At least that's what it says on the screen.
