Re: Subnautica and Below Zero Launch Week Development Priorities - Subnautica
I have the Switch version and this game crashes so often it is almost unplayable. On this recent crash it deleted the item I had mined from the whole game- I don't want to give spoilers but I returned back to the place that had a lot of an important item and they are all gone. Not in my inventory or anywhere in game. If the game thinks I have never been there, where is this resource?
Re: Subnautica and Below Zero Launch Week Development Priorities - Subnautica
Can we get an update from the development team regarding various issues?
I bought the Switch version, saved in my Cyclops, which prevented my save from loading for the better part of a week. A patched was released, I got to play for like 2 more days, then I saved in my Prawn Suit, which has prevented my save from loading for nearly another week now. The game has been out exactly 2 weeks at this point, and it has only worked like 4 days for me.

Re: Below Zero PS5 - Lost game save, game breaking bug [44154]
Same here, with version 44154 for PS5. I lost 32 hours of progress. Here’s what happened to me:
I was naming a beacon at Outpost Zero and selected okay. I decided to rename it shortly after, but it wouldn’t me change it (the PS5 keyboard wouldn’t pop up). I went to report the bug through the menu and when I selected the bug text box, the game crashed.
I reopened the game and the error was gone (I could edit the beacon text fields again). So I kept playing and about 30 minutes later I tried to save. Then it gave me the “Save Data Saving Failed. Try again?” message, so I selected yes, but it failed again.
I closed and reopened the game, and the save file was completely gone! All it was showing was “New Game”.
I went into the PS5’s Settings: —> Storage —> Console Storage —> Saved Data and save data shows in both the PS5 Games and PS4 Games sections for some reason. The weird thing is the save files are 30 minutes apart, but around the time when the game crashed.
The save files are still here in the PS5’s storage, but loading up the game doesn’t load the last saved filed. It still just says, “Start New Game”. I’m guessing my save file got corrupted somehow. Is there anything I can do to keep playing my current play through? Thanks.

Re: Below Zero Scanning room broken to the point of uselessness
Agreed plus putting the resources to make the chip in the late game biomes rather than late starter - mid twisty bridges / thermal spires - renders it useless as well
Re: VR Title screen below playspace floor | HTC VIVE
I am also experiencing this issue. I was able to get into the game even though the menu was below the playspace but when I enter the seamoth my character is way below the playspace like the menu.
Re: Cannot Build or Enter Various Ships
If I'm, kind of, out of range of my base (I chose about 200m) with that Seamoth, I seem to be able to enter it like 99% of the time. When the distance isn't already big enough pushing the Seamoth further in the opposite direction does the trick. I can't pick up stuff around my base but in some distance from it. I think not being able to enter the Seamoth happened to me first in a different area of the map shortly before it did at my base.
So, who's scared of Leviathans? A new height of suspense is reached by: Never knowing when your Seamoth or Cyclops shuts the door on you.
It sounds like we have almost the exact same issue. I used the console command to spawn a new seamoth and I could enter it with some pushing it around but as soon as I leave it I cannot enter it again. I did do this really close to my original base though. Maybe it would work if I was forget away. However, this doesn't resolve the issues with being unable to place anything new on my base.
Additionally, your earlier message about what the team should be responding with is exactly what should be happening!
Re: more animal threat
Yeah by the time you get the Prawn Suit both in the first game and in BZ, everything becomes really casual. There isn't much threat out there unless you're really looking for it.
I'd like to see the Prawn Suit become more useful by being able to fight off lethal flora and fauna. Perhaps a Pyranha Swarm that would force you to run away while driving, or an electrical eel mob that drains your battery.
Lastly, some quicksand and earthquake to keep you on your toes while on the Prawn Suit would be nice.

Re: Cannot Build or Enter Various Ships
I don't know why this and similar Twitter complaints have gone unanswered...well maybe I can understand ignoring Twitter, but not here.
Re: Below Zero - Sea-Dragons around Island are far too loud.
These things ?
I agree, the Crypto-suchus are far too noisy for such small fauna, you'd think they were leviathans. Meanwhile, the far more dangerous Chelicerates make hardly any sound until they're chewing on you, and then it's too late...
