Clarification Welcome
Sewlek has put the mod into feature lockdown mode, so the very latest version is pretty close to what is planned to be implemented. And by latest version I mean earlier today, as there were a few last minute features that were tried out over the past few days that have since been reverted. There may still be some minor number value tweaking, and last minute bug fixes, but it is important that we get this out to the wider public so that we can get a greater amount of feedback on it. Now, it should NOT be assumed that it ends with the first release. Of course we will be closely monitoring how it plays out, continuing to listen to feedback, and making further adjustments as necessary. It may even mean removing some of the features that we believe to be working well currently, if widespread community play shows them to be too problematic. We've shown our dedication to fixing and improving NS2 post release, there should be no reason to assume that we'd just drop these huge changes on everyone without continuing to further refine and improve the resulting gameplay. It is understandable that changes this big can be scary, but we really hope everyone will give them a fair chance.

Say, seeing a community rallying together to create a substantial prize pool, and cheering on great players in good spirits .

Clarification Welcome
Over the coming weeks, Balance Test Mod (BTM) will become vanilla Natural Selection 2. The specific components that make it into vanilla may not exactly match the state of BTM on any given day. The degree to which Natural Selection 2 will resemble the current BTM will be substantial.

You're bound to get some FPS drops in generator, it's a big area to render with a lot of stuff going on inside of it. But there shouldn't be any real reasons for it to tank hard.
