Heavy armor = slow to walk, making it more bothersome to get to an armory to heal + will most likely have ton of armor that will need to be welded after an attack.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

But a commander will drop armorys at strategy part, like outside hive etc etc, giving all marines full healt in mather of seconds. Basically you can drop armorys everywhere on the map if you want to..... Please dont think so linnear, think out of all sequens and then figur out a solution :)

I have seen welders drop from dead marines but I think it only happens if they have it out when they die.

So, armor is not useful enough to justify welding in the field.

Therefore we should make it harder to get armor back, to encourage people to perform menial tasks in order to gain a not-that-useful benefit?

    Your logic escapes me.

    Weldable vents would be nice...

I agree with the idea that the "frontline welder" will come into fashion with exosuits. We saw it in NS1, we'll see it in NS2.

Personally, I'd be a fan of the welder also being more badass in close combat, but that's just my NS1.0x twitches coming back :)

this is true, i forgot this was in last patch.

The problem is that it is a bit OP to have armories give back armor.
