This is great. Kudos for still being there after these years!

And I'm absolutely dying while waiting for tomorrow.

I'm crossing my fingers that giving a release date works out for the best. I think UWE deserves to pull it off considering the bad luck they've had over the past year.

very happy to see you push forward with the next natural selection game, and still staying with UWE.

Sounds great. I can't believe it's been 4 years! I'm eagerly looking forward to the future of NS.

Speaking of which, I seem to remember there was some question about "would you pre-order the next NS game" a while back... What ever happened with that? Are you planning on having a pre-order available? If so, I'm in.

I like that chinese proverb, with exception to the end part about God. Living without regret is difficult, but it's the way to go.

Good stuff I guess. Less talk more results would be better, but that is just me.

Flayra, i understand how frustrated you may be feeling sometimes but you can never give up of what you want to do for your life.
I had a lot of downhills, but it made me thinking "what happened, why it din´t work". It´s very hard at beginning to face some things.

I completly re-do a lot of things in my life and from last year it had been very amazing my professional life.
For now i am doing a huge step forward in my professional life and i will be pretty well financially doing what i really like to do.

Move forward, *always*, and you will see a beautiful light at the end of the tunnel.

"who has already made stunning progress on a <b>sticky</b> feature in the next game."

Just a descriptive word; or a hint at a possible new feature? (Creep?)

Flayra, I feel like a proud parent looking at their son after many years of hard going. On that note, I'd like to say, "well done son" and I'm so excited for the next NS game <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />

So wheres the pre/download for ns2

Even though I'm not a supporter of what ns has become since folowup versions of 1.04, I still support the game. I just like the idea of the game very much. Heck I'm even recreating a final/last map for it and started playing it again (classic), however it has lost it's charm for me it once had. Alien gameplay is broken imho, 3.2 won't make up for it I think. So this player is mostly playing on rines now (I used to prefer aliens way back <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />)

Anyway, I am certainly looking forward to see what ns2 will be like. HL2 engine has so much more potential for this game. Perhaps ns came 4 years too soon? Seeing the amazing things you guys have achieved on this relic of an engine remains one for the record books...

    Now the waiting continues...

/agree its funny I could be playing WoW, BF2142, Quake 4, COD - Which all have amazing graphics and are up todate. But NS....the Gameplay just blows me away. The improvements you guys did to the HL engine are fantastic and I believe it still looks up to par with some of the games just released.

Ahaha. I take this attitude too. Don't get too worried about anything. Thing's'll usually turn out for the best. Much to the chagrin of Michelle, my girlfriend, who seems to be perpetually beset by ill-fortune at every turn and having to work hard for everything, whereas I drift along with an air of vague optimism. So far, so good.

I'm looking forward to hear the news next week.

So when is the constie testing of 3.2 starting? I was under the impression that it was to be released to the public along with the new site..

Great stuff. I always knew you would get there in the end. And I really can't wait to see what you guys bring to the Source engine...

I think we may have a Best Game Ever on our hands. I'm also suddenly feeling the urge to donate, so I think I will.

I honestly hope this date is met, I do not think the community is willing to stomach having their hopes dashed much more. I have had a BLAST testing 3.2 and I believe it's the best version of NS thus released, and the community will really enjoy the changes.

Yes, we need a new gas for the community. There are only few servers of NS with people playing now.
But i think 3.2 release will have a limited effect. What will surely attract more attention again to NS is an announcement of a new NS game either NS:S or NS2.

The announcement better be about NS2, and not NS:S.

If its NS:S, then that wont bring people back long-term. Only NS2 can do that.

Wow, until the end I though flayra was gonna close everything down and resume to a job of burgerflipping or announcing EA will finance the development of NS2 <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink-fix.gif" />
