WWII Afficianados come hither.
OK, so in my school we are required to do a large project in order for us to meet the requirements to graduate. Everyone says that I should do it my sophmore year, and I'm doing just that
. Anyhow, we are allowed to make this a group project, so I paired up with my friend Chris and we are doing it on WWII in my American Civilizaton 10 class. The topic of the project must be put in to question form so that we can answer it as we go along. Our question is this: "How did tactics used by WWII field commanders affect the outcome of battle?". The project is divided up into several sections, all of which is worth a certain percentage which adds up to 100%, which gives us the grade for our project. The sections are as follows: Written, Oral, Visual and Technology. We have pretty much planned out what things we want to do for each section, which I will list below.
- Written: 6-Page paper on tactics and famous WWII battles.
- Oral: Presenation of undetermined length about tactics.
- Visual: Large poster of a make-believe town, which will be used for pretend battle simulation.
- Technology: Use of Age of Empires: Rise to Modern Combat with custom map to demonstrate tactics.
These are the things that we are going to use as of now. My question to you guys is kind of important. What can we do to make this project really impressive? This project determins whether or not we graduate, and if we get any grade lower than a C on it, we fail it and it goes on our transcripts. As you can see, we need to impress our teacher and get a good grade on this. So I just need to know what we can do to go above an beyond. Thanks.
