I know it's probably frowned upon, probably more than frowned upon. But because the other thread became locked, and I was an admin on the server at the time, and I've been taught well by my boss, I feel the need to respond.
Ollj was not abused for dropping movement, we drop sensory/movement first occasionally. I won't claim most people don't complaign about it, they do, but we drop it anyway. I myself will join a game calling sensory first, and procede to drop sensories much to the whining of the other players.
That said, lets look at what Ollj did. We were on ns_metal, in Surface Access Hive (I believe it was surface.. have to admit I don't know the hive names too well on metal) and as soon as the round started (not minutes in as he claimed, but as soon as it started) he ran to our starting res node, Heating, and dropped a movement there. This by itself is acceptable, and even though we had people whining, theres no problem with movement first, it makes for solid skulks. The problem we had with Ollj was what he then decided to do. Instead of building the movement chamber, he started running. As soon as movement was dropped, I checked my map, and saw a gorge running away from a movement in heating. He then proceeded to to disconnect from and reconnect to the server.
We have no problem with people who drop chambers, whatever chamber it is. We have a problem with players who drop chambers then try to pretend it wasn't them. If you're going to act guilty, chances are you think you did something you shouldn't have done. And the only reason you shouldn't drop any upgrade chamber is if it is in an attempt to disrupt the team.
Oh, and we lost that game, but that's besides the point. Doesn't really matter if you win or lose, as long as you had fun. And it was a fun game.
