Edit: Added grid, Movement, and Range.
This isn't exactly an RPG, but more of a non-real-time RTS.
Basicly, I'll need three people. They will "Buy" units, and then take turns making moves. As they make moves, I will update the map.
If units are in range, they can attack. To determine if they hit, this formula will be used.
Attack Score + 1d20 >= Armor
So, if the unit's "Attack" number plus a random number from 1 to 20 is greater than or equal to the other unit's armor, they hit.
Two special cases:
1) A 1 on the 1d20 roll is a Critical Miss. The unit can't attack next turn.
2) A 20 on the 1d20 roll is a Critical Hit. The damage is doubled.
The units:BaseAttack: 0
Cost: StartingJeepAttack: 5
Cost: 10BoatAttack: 5
Other: Up to 2 Soldiers can be loaded in. Can not move on land.MortarAttack: 3
Other: Requires 2 turns to fire.AirplaneAttack: 5
Other: Can move over land and waterSoldierAttack: 7
Other: Can't attack AirplanesLight TankAttack: 8
Cost: 15Heavy TankAttack: 12
Cost: 30TurretAttack: 8
Players will start with 150 "points" to spend. Spend these points on units however you wish. You will not get a chance to buy more later.
If you are interested, post here which base you want. When that is decided, PM me with your unit selection.
Do not post unit selection here, as that can give away tactical advanatages.
The map will be updated when everyone has made their choices, and we are ready to start. From there, it will be updated when ever anyone posts.
Structure your posts as:
<Unit Name> Moves[Up, down, left, right, diagonally up-left, et cetera]/Attacks [Unit Name], et cetera.
