Every couple of days we hear about some terrorist attacks and I can tell you it gets depressing fast. The sad thing is this will never end, just think about it. Israel was getting bombed every other day for a while after 911 it seemed and all of a sudden americans think terrorism is due to 911. This may be one of the reasons, but Isreal has been under threat of terrorist attacks for as long as it's short creation. Same thing in the 90's, we had the olympic bombings..80's in germany the Baader Mein Hoff gang was terrorizing our bases over their. Not to mention the Isreal olympic team was killed by another middle east terrorist group and an airliner was hijacked and luckily successfully rescued. The list could go on into caveman times, though the methods do get a tad-bit cruder. The media can't wait to throw news of the latest bombing into our face and I'm not seeing an end to that depressing area.
Murders are the second hottest item it seems on the TV. I come home and turn on the TV and see pictures of a guy who may have killed his pregneat wife. Great. Or even better some celebrity child molesters ( I know not proven), like I wanna hear about that on the way to work or about Martha Stewert being convicted on all these charges The only good news is that some kid in asia (always in asia it seems in the news) fell down a well and was luckily saved in time before a monsoon. Good for him, but I still picture that poor guy in the dark, damp well and put myself in his postition. Maybe I am just a depressed person, but is anyone else getting tired of all the bad news?
