Ok i thought up one for me to play around with.
This is a Spaceship RPG where at first you only have a suttle Covette and £100,000. You can get more money by getting jobs, these can be things from, searching for lost treasure to escorting major supplies to outer colonies.
You ship has the 5 Main stats
Power ( More you have the better weapons you have)
Speed ( More you have the more Weapons you can fire in one round. Every 3 speed equals 1 shot.)
Manoeuvrability ( More and you can Evade well but you are also quick)
Hull ( More and you can take more damage to your hull)
Shields ( More and your Shields absorb more damage before they go)
With your Money you can buy upgrades and make your ship better. But with medium armors and onwards, you need crews to help out around the ship. These can be recruited at the local Recruiting Station where fully qualified cadets help to run the Reactor, and man the turrets. (note: the Frigate has automated Turrets)
As you do more jobs, i might add, your ranking goes up. With new ranking you can buy better Weapons. So it is a good idea to do some jobs before going out to find treasures. One last thing. If you happen to come across a planet. You could Colonise it and get a nice income. But remember, other people with bigger ships can just come along and take it from you.
There are different ship that you can have.
Class: Starting Ship
Description: The Vessel you own. You nearly know all aspects of this ship. It has 2 Forward Hardpoints and a Fusion Reactor. A small and quick ship that gets the job done. It has Light armor and the power input to the shields is adequate.
Shields : 6
Class: Light Armor
Description: A small vessel, but size does not matter. It has 3 forward Harpoints aswell as 2 turrets on the sides of the vessel. It has a small Fusion Reactor which gives it alot of power to the shields, but since it is small it does not have much hull.
Shields : 7
Class : Light Armor
Description: More of a Escorting or Fighting pirates. As 4 Forward Hardpoints with a reinforced hull. Its Pocket Fusion Reactor doesnt give out as much power as the frigate so its shields are practically Non-existant as it needs that power for the weapons. It is a little slower, but it packs a hard punch.
Class : Medium Armor
Description: One of the First Medium Armor ships. Good all round ship, with 2 Forward Hardpoints, a rear turret and a Fusion Reactor. Shields are normal and can take damage and the hull is also very nice. It is Way slower because of it's thick armor.
Shields : 5
Class: Medium Armor
Description: Only classed a Medium because of its size, this vessel is best used for Merchants who like to trade and to transport goods. It is usefull for obvious reasons (Transport Jobs). It has 1 forward turret and is quite quick for its size.
Class: Heavy Armor
Description: One of the biggest ships there is, it has 20 turrets dotted around the ship, 4 forward Hardpoints and can Also hold a array of missles. Because of its size it is very slow Manoeuvring and in speed. Its hull and shields are to be reckoned with.
Class: Heavy Armor
Description: Another big ship, like the Cruiser in design, but more of a Destructive vehicle. It has 5 Forward Hardpoints. 4 Missle Silos. 2 Fusion Reactors and 25 Turrets. This is truly a power in the Universe.
Battleship (A.K.A The Flying Fortress)
Class: Capital Ship
Description: THE Biggest ship in the Fleet. It is nearly twice the size of the cruiser and has less Manoeuvrability. But with 7 Forward and Rear Hardpoints and 30 turrets aswell as 3 Fusion Reactors, You wont need that much time to destroy an Enemy. It also can Carry a Nuclear Missle.

For the Time being There will be no fights but only jobs. You can upgrade your ship with different parts. And when i feel like it, Get special Items that will help you alot.
