Finito? Benito? it's all greek to me
A friend and I are having a bit of a quarrel about what the sound, marine_order_complete5.wav actually is. Since it is an affirmation and sort of an okay like the other sounds of that type (i.e. "Got it done", "Objective Completed") I figured it means the same thing. I hear it as "benito" root being be[n] like bueno or bien, etc. Sounds familiar to me anyway. My colleague claims it's "finito", slang for finished. Like an exclaimation of failure, "We're finished". When I listen to the wav and look at the filename, that's not the message I'm getting because it plays after I've completed building something. Not to say that "benito" isn't slang either.
Can anyone vouch for either phrase? Which is he saying?
