Well we've had some really REALLY cold temperatures here (It was 80 last week and now it's about 20...). My house is very open, not very insulated, and thus, not very warm. Looking for cheap ways to heat the house... I turned to my computer. With all the fans in it, it's running at about 80 degrees.
So I disabled the fans blowing air in (about half), and reversed the ones in front so they blow out. I took off the case, so they're bare blowing straight into the room. The core temp went up from 80 to 120-30ish.
The result: A furnace spewing nice hot air into my room! It's about 40 degrees warmer in here then it is in the rest of the house now
