it would be cool if the crab squid did the same thing it does to players to fish or other creatures that get close enough to its mushroom and eats them the same thing it does to players but to other creatures i think this would be neat to watch happen and would help make the game more immersive and awesome the little things make a big difference sometimes too

You're thinking of the crab snake. Also the player is too big for the snake to eat them whole.
