Vertical ladders block the way

And they should be moved to the side of the corridor, so that they stick to the wall instead hanging in the middle of the corridor. Also, they should have an automatic hatch or something on the top end. Its just disturbing to walk over holes that act like bumpers and crawl along the walls to dodge the ladders hanging in the way. It annoys so much that i stopped using vertical connectors at all.

    Yeah, stairs would be awesome. An elevator instead of ladders is agood idea too. It doesnt have to be much bigger than the ladder, but it will make our life easier, especialy since Devs are working on climbing animations. Seems we wont be magicaly teleportig form one end to the other for long.

    They could be neatly tucked up then extend when you interact with them before doing the fade out.

    retractable ladders.... push them up out of your way when not in use.... and when the ladders go down have something like this.... safety-barrier-manhole-5926349.jpg


    or better yet....

    an electric one man lift. consumes 25 power to use. basically just a small platform barely smaller than the connecting tube.... when not in use the hole is covered up... have a small console at each end to press a button to go up or down.
    for the animation for these.... we get to watch ourselves go up and down and actually get to see outside those windows that are on the connecting tubes.
