I built my Seamoth too close to my above water base...

Don't build a submarine too close to your above water base...
Or this is what you might get ....

I wasn't able to deconstruct the floor beneath it, I couldn't push it and the propulsion cannon had no effect.
There was a really cool circuit board animated pattern on the windshield though.
I just restarted the game from the last save, repostioned my floating submarine doohickey and it was fine the 2nd time.

I thought it was kinda cool actually.
I wonder what it would have looked like if I had built a Cyclops instead, haha.

My guess is, if you deconstructed enough, it would have worked.

I had something similar, but mine actually spawned INSIDE of a multipurpose room. I probably should have taken a screenshot, but I was able to deconstruct everything and get it to drop into the water.

If you'd built a cyclops, your base would be broken :)

I did it by accident. It fell down, knackered the glass corridor underneath and flooded everything. Welded and fixed in a few mins, but still an unwise decision...

We need some weather for above water bases.
