Game wont start

When I click play nothing happens not even an error message. This problem has persisted for a week now. If anyone has any resolutions to this problem it would be much appreciated. I have:
Processor: AMD FX(tm)-8320
Eight-Core Processor,
Memory: 8192MB RAM, GTX660 GPU.
I don't know if this information is useful or not but i tried to verify integrity of the files, clear local content, reinstalled the game twice,and tried updating to the experimental version and nothing made a difference sadly.
Desktop Window Manager keeps crashing right after I enter my password to login.

    Please provide the content of you log file. Its in <Steam>/SteamApps/common/Subnautica/Subnautica_Data/Output_Log.txt

    The fact that DWM is crashing is not a good sign on the windwos is working well front.
