the seamoth upgrade console is backwards

i placed them in all my moonpools but when i logged on to play the other day they were all facing backwards...

That's not a bug. It's meant to be that way. You're supposed to go behind it and look at it that way. The backwards thing was intentional.

Actually, if you go take a look at the video, you will discover that you are incorrect. It's not "intentionally" backwards and killzone is correct.

You realize that things in production have a tendency to change? They actually commented they turned it around that way.

I haven't seen a comment from the developers to that effect. At any rate, I don't see why they think it would look better that way.
(In fact, Trello seems to clearly indicate that it's not intended for the console to face the wall, but for the console to be against the wall and the player faces it):https://trello.com/c/iuNzv6pH/1292-22499-moon-pool-seamoth-upgrade-console-turned-around-and-out-of-place
The only reason I can see for turning it around is so that you can see the craft when you are making the changes, and that only matters if the changes are applied in real-time and not after they are committed with an Apply button or closing the terminal.

If that's the case, then they may want to place the terminal somewhere else, where it's not up against a wall - and change their blog page so they aren't previewing something that isn't as they show it.
