Changelog / Checkin?

I think I read somewhere that there isn't a changelog per se because it's too difficult for the devs to know every change which has gone into a build, and the easiest way to see is by looking at the checkins for each build. Can someone please remind me where I find this?

It would be really useful for testing and looking for bugs/defects to know what changes have been checked in and what the trello cards for said changes imply, to focus on these areas and compare the expected requirement vs actual result for implementation.

Thanks for the link, but what exactly am I looking for there to see what is checked in for each build? I presume cards moved into the "Done" column are implemented, but for which build? And how can I view previous build's implemented cards?

I'm used to using Jira in the office, but I'm a newbie with this Trello stuff ^_^

I don't think you can. Someone might know better but I don't think the previous builds' "done" cards are publicly available.
