I can't start Future Perfect. When I try it takes some time and eventually I get the error: "Couldn't create (null) render device".
Is there anything I can try?

(Mac Book pro, using vmware fusion).
(O yeah the forum search searches also ns2 forum, just so someone knows :) )

That would happen if D3D11 wasn't available. What graphics card do you have?

I have an NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB.
I was able to run ns2 before but it has been a long time ago since I was running ns2 on my mac.

I also checked the log it says:
Attempted to load remote options from a file that does not exist.

    I hope it helps.
I try to figure out now if D3D11 is supported but my internet is dead slow (doing a search on google takes around 30 seconds).

I checked with dxdiag and it says direct x 11.

Ok, I got it. dxdiag shows the version installed. But my virtual machine supports only 9.0 something.
Guess I have to bring my pc back from the studio to my home :)
