    welcome to the ns2 tech support. Please read these instructions, so we can actually help you solving your technical issues.

    A low fps rate can have dozens of reasons.

    My computer's 5 yrs old, 3.3 ghz. The only thing I needed to add to my pc to play ns2 was a graphics card since intel on-board won't cut it.

    My gpu is under $100 now. By no means is my computer a high-end pc, but I can very easily and effectively run ns2. If you have a high-end pc like you mentioned in your other post, then there's simply something wrong on your side, in which case log files could help these guys try to sort it out. Nobody's denying you have a performance issue. But if everybody else here can play it, then I don't see why you shouldn't be able to either.
