this mod is turning out real good with new stuff added in daily, only thing we need to play it nicely is some engine optimazation to run smoother.

It's so awesome you guys are already going crazy modding this and adding to it! Love it.

We had some problems with the latest FMOD so internally we're using version 4.27.03:

    Windows

    Mac
    <a href="http://www.fmod.org/index.php/release/version/fmoddesigner42703mac-installer.dmg" target="_blank">http://www.fmod.org/index.php/release/vers...c-installer.dmg</a>

I downloaded the newest ns2lua package and have some problems with it.

    1) If you change your class to skulk and enter third person mode, you have 2 skulk models, one static and one dynamic
1.1) The Skulk model is missing the thirdperson bite/attack animation.

    2) The muzzle flash from the machine gun is missing.

    3) Sprinting both as skulk and marine is "laggy".

I only have those problems with the newest source( 47a8d57 ). It worked flawlessly with source version 6b287a2, which surely misses some of the features, but has no bugs.

Besides that I have to say, that the modders are doing a very great progress in expanding the engine test :)

    Greetings,

    Maxunit

Thanks for your reports. I have noticed the sprinting is pretty borked. We've been doing a lot of major changes which unfortunately tends to introduce new bugs.

Flashlights in this game look awesome.

Fully networked too, not like the HL1 versions.

It works as long as you put everything(lua or not) in an "ns2lua" folder alongside the ns2 folder.

I just fell through the tech point in my map, I'm guessing the model itself doesn't have physics?

Correct. I don't know how to make that work yet. The doors are able to be walked through too.

So I downloaded both branches and extracted them to my NS2 folder, I join the marine team, but I can't figure out what key the flashlight is (not F). Is there some console command you have to type in?

Also, when I tried to join a server through the server browser, the game would stop running.

Press shift+z for flashlight (or your respective sprint+taunt keys)

    Wow, great work guys.

This definitely feels like it should be in the modding section, so I'm going to punt it over.
